Composition Books

I made these for a swap that I'm doing with some other CTMH consultants. I've never done one of these before but I think they turned out pretty cute. In fact, I need to make one for myself! LOL The papers and ribbon are CTMH products but the letters and flowers are not.

Mother-in-law Gifts

Alright, now I can post these pictures! LOL I originally posted a picture of one of these gifts I made for my mother-in-law but then thought that it might not be such a good idea considering she has my blog address and might happen to see it before we gave it to her! LOL So, I made this cookie sheet magnet board for her first. I had my hubby pick out the papers so that he had input on the gift. I then made the family album at a crop. It took me, seriously, like a total of 6 hours to put together! I think it turned out pretty neat. I didn't take a picture of it all done. I had added a few other pictures and stickers and other stuff but this gives you a good enough ideas! Now I need to make one for MY mom! :)

Picket Fence card

Oh man, I had so much fun with this card! I originally saw a posting by Lisa here:
http://lisascreativecorner.blogspot.com/2009/04/picket-fence-seed-packet-card.html

which led me here:
http://apathofpaper.blogspot.com/2008/07/picket-fence-card.html

So I thought I'd give one a whirl! I eventually want to copy a card like Lisa's with the flower seeds but for tonight I just wanted to practice and mess around with ideas and stuff. This card is fairly easy to make and what a cool effect! All products used (stamp sets, ink and cardstock) are CTMH!

This is the card I came up with tonight using the Pretty Simple template out of the CTMH Originals book. I've been racking my brain, trying to come up with card ideas for my home gathering this Saturday and I thought a cool idea would be to use the Crazy About Cards tutorial on the CTMHtv. This way my guests can make their own variation of a card but I'd still have everything cut out for them and all they'd have to do would be to put one together, mixing and matching as they please! Of course I had to have one for an example so here it is! :)

The paper is the Good Times paper pack and I used 2 different stamp sets and of course I can't remember the names and I've put everything away...oops! :)

Happy Resurrection Day

Today is one of my favorite days of the entire year...the day we celebrate Jesus conquering death, raising from the grave as He said He would do!! What an amazing gift He gave us when He died for us, so that we could join Him in heaven one day! I can't help but cry every time I think about what He went through for us!!! So, I pray that the Lord blesses your day and that you feel the love and mercy that God has given us although we don't deserve it!

On another note, last night my hubby went out with a friend so I was left to entertain myself and what better thing to do than craft?!?! :) The pictures above are of the projects I did last night.
The first picture is my first try at the flower pot card. (http://sluman.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2009/01/25/flower-pot-pocket-card/ ). I don't like how it turned out, I was running low on energy at that point so didn't take my time! LOL
The 2nd and 3rd picture is of a card/picture folio. I got the directions from a fellow CTMH consultant (http://wonderfullywhimsy.blogspot.com/2009/04/card-folio.html).
The 4th picture is of a shallow basket. Here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3O5rJY7jVEQ
The last picture is of 3 box in a bags (directions found at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/boxinabag/ ).
So...there ya go! All paper is from our Close To My Heart Emporium paper pack (one of my faves)!

HAPPY EASTER!!!!
